DESIGNER GENES

I have my own designer gene's
Given me from God
My DNA my very own
Since I've been on this sod

The atoms and the molecules
Tell other's who I am
They have to use a microscope
Yet I'm known by the Lamb

Fashioned in my mother's womb
Before my birth I was
Deemed by God a chosen life
To own His worthy cause

I hear the voice of my Shepherd
He gently leads me Home
Clothed in God's own righteousness
When I appear before His Throne

So now I lay me down to sleep
Though tired as I am
I praise you Lord You safely keep
Those who know the Lamb
