Precious little love
Briefly fluttered into our lives
From one bright shinning light above
Answered prayers when you arrived.

Baby, all too soon you're gone
You took our hearts with you
We yearn to hear your gentle song
Silenced way too soon.

Our empty arms cry out for you
Our world is torn apart
Our dreams for you will not come true
Your absence seers our heart.

Why did the Father call you home?
We try to understand.
We hoped to keep you till you'd grown
But that was not God's plan.

What comfort can You give us, Lord?
You took our angel home.
Our faith must trust Your Holy Word
You hold our baby as Your own.

For now, our Angel Baby Love
We'll keep our faith and then
Together in God's heaven above
We'll hold you once again.
