My Heart Has Grown Up
I Can Take It and Make It

This means the Christian heart has grown in wisdom, they have new motives to love, confidence and obedience, the exercises faith and patience, abound in good works, doing and suffering in their calling only to bring glory to God. Once your heart have turned to God and has grown to know his attributes the days of temptation to provoke him is passed and we learn that it is all about God. We find that we have to depend only on him for it is in him we live, move and have our being. When the heart does not grow we only provoke God and our hearts become hardened then sin enters in then God’s heart is grieved, because to him that know to do good and do it not is sin and God will destroy.

But when our heart grows after God we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanse us from all sin. Now we have grown and can fellowship with him, as we do the will of God. We learn to let brotherly love continue, we will confess our faults more, pray for each other, be of one mind, have compassion for each other and evil is done away with.

The heart that never grows, never forgives either. Forgiveness is being merciful and pardoning the wrong done to you. God commands man to forgive even as he forgives. The discretion of a man defers his anger, and it is his glory to Passover a transgression.

There are four things a grown heart does:

The heart that grows forgives much, rejoice not when their enemy fails in some point, does not render evil for evil, but bless and not curse.

A heart that never grows will never know that God is there and that they can live a life of love peace, kindness, abundance, mercy and grace. They will never seek the life supplier in the days of their youth. They will not serve him, obey him, or come into his wisdom, knowledge and understanding. They will not prosper, but live their days and years in pleasure. They will never realize that they can be perfect. Perfect means growing to the best of your ability to conquer the things you know to do in a much more proficient way.

Matthew 5:48, be ye therefore perfect even as you father is in Heaven perfect. As for God his way is perfect, his Word has been tried and his Word in you will also be tried. For the Lord see not as man does, he looks on the outward appearance but the Lord looks on the heart, Remember God searches the heart, your heart shall live forever.

When the heart does not grow because sin long persists it will cause God’s wrath to abort it, usually dying in their sin. This heart says that we distrust God and one will soon desert the faith. Let those that think they stand, take heed lest they fall. Tomorrow is not ours is what a heart that has grown will say, for they realize that tomorrow is not promised, everyday is tomorrow and tomorrow never comes. That’s why we must make the best improvement in our lives today and help someone else. We need each other, do not think low of the next sister or brother but care for them standing in their faith, take care to handle those things in your present time whatever you are facing now.

Sin has so many ways and colours that we need more eyes than our own. It appears fair, but is vile, morally despicable, intellectually dishonest, physically repulsive, foul. Sin is common and degrades the Christian nature, is is disgusting and as the Christians heart grows it is contemptible. When we grow in the things of God we should want everyone to get what we have. The deceitfulness of sin hardens the soul. One sin allowed makes way for another and every act of sin confirms the habit and the habit causes the heart not to grow in the things of God. Let everyone beware to let sin have dominion in our lives.

We want our hearts to grow in this present time. If our hearts grow for the things of God here, it won’t be a problem when we get to Heaven.

Days of temptation are often days of provocation and the heart that never grow will never fully partake of Christ’s Spirit, nature, grace, righteousness, his life, who he is, what he has done for them or will do in their lives.

Now to sum up what has been said:

Remember the heart that never grows:
1. Never becomes purified
2. Their minds are never stirred up that they would become active and lively in holiness
3. They will make light of sin and mock at the salvation by Jesus Christ
4. They do not realize that they could be swept away in the fire of God’s Wrath

But once their sin has been pardoned:
1. They are clothe with God’s righteousness
2. His faithfulness
3. His peace
4. His joy
5. His mercy
6. His spirit for his glory
7. They are for his exclusive use
8. Their heart is effected with real knowledge
9. They will no longer put off today for tomorrow

This is not to scare you but to help you realize that it’s time to grow and grow in the things of God that we can proceed and teach others, establishing them in the truth concerning the coming of the Lord in this present time. Your present time is now. Your one-day is not God’s, to us there is a difference in one day and a thousand years, but with God there is no difference. All things past, present, and future are ever before God. We should not put off today for tomorrow, as we believe God did something for us we should do something that others will experience the same joy. As the heart grows it pants after the Word with out slackness. No one have to tell you come to Sunday School, Bible Study or midweek prayer and services, it is as much a part of you as the undergarments you wear everyday. Those only who are clothed with the righteousness of Christ and sanctified by the Holy Ghost shall be admitted to dwell in this holy place. Your obedient servitude teaches you to make right use of the patience of our Lord who as he delays his coming and put into practice things which are more easy to be understood.

You can began by denying yourself and submitting to the authority of Christ Jesus, give your life to Christ and heartily receive all the truths of the Gospel.

Don’t reject him, your heart can began to grow in all grace, faith, virtue and knowledge. Labor to know Christ more clearly and full take that first step to know him and grow will make you more like him and love him better. Paul reached out for Christ and came to know him in a great way.

This is your freedom from condemnation, your privilege as being a child of God.

If you do not know him in the pardon of your sin, you can change now and your heart can began to grow towards God
