From seedling to a sapling

Few things stay, as they were

My first steps, found me grappling

With, a balance most unsure

Looking back, on years gone by

I wonder where they've went

Sometime time crawls, at times it fly's

But it has brought me to the present

Our front yard tree, once tall as me

Is now past forty feet

Across our street, once chocked with weeds

Has turned to solid concrete

Next to us, on our neighbors land

In past stood rows of crops

But that was then, and now there stands

A mall and business shops

As this world turns, one often learns

That few things stay the same

Except our LORD, and all HIS WORDS

For they are exempt, from change
