And God, in His infinite wisdom, allows us, as humans, to evolve, through erring, learning and growing.
I could not name a better parent than He!

How many parents have spent the night with a baby howling with belly ache? All was needed was a bottle of gripe water!

How many parents have lain awake, worrying because their teenage son/daughter has become involved in a situation/person whom we have found offensive?

How many of us have walked our adult child through a broken romance? Heartbreak? Oh yes! Step up and smell the roses!

Lost your job through no fault of your own?
Have an In-Law whom you wouldn't befriend if they were the last person on earth?

Addicted to substance/someone?

Lost a loved one through physical death?

Had a neighbour who is a drug dealer?

Someone broke into your house or car?

Even smaller,

your oven blew up!

I would be very surprised if you, as readers, have not been affected by at least one of the above!

My question is; Do we curse our adversaries to the cold, cold, place called Hell?
Of course not!
Neither would our Heavenly Father!

He is allowing us to learn in our own time.
How beautiful is that? Isn't it awesome? That someone should consider us so much that He is waiting and watching for us to evolve spiritually, emotionally, physically until we reach His unconditional love?

Have you ever considered superstition? You know the magpie song? One for sorrow, two for joy and so on? That's all it is!`Superstition!

As Christians, we rely on the words of the Bible.
As Jews, we rely on the words of the Torah.
As Muslims, we rely on the Koran or Quran.
As humanists, we rely on the human condition.

Are we still at the stage of human condition?
Are some of us more progressive? Does it not make sense that many of us are still evolving?
Look around you!The newspapers tell us bad news!
They focus on the so called 'celebrities', actors and such like who are so shallow that it is laughable.People who mimic them are now suffering from anorexia!

Then we have the Pope! Excuse me, but the whole of Africa is suffering from AIDS because they believe in the Catholic teaching of not using condoms. Again, the human condition is as it is;

Sincerely

Veronica

I found this funny, delightful, honest and well written. I pray that i am out of the humanist stage and only look to God. We sure can get bogged down with things though, can't we?
