PROPER MANAGEMENT OF WEALTHS

It is good having wealths, but it is better managing them properly. The reason why many do not receive wealths is simply that they do not know how to manage them responsibly. If parents are wise enough not to give their children that which the latter are not able to manage, how much more will God, unlimitedly Wise, wait until you acquire managing capacities for Him to give you lots of wealths ?(Galatians 4:1-2)

Therefore knowing how to manage wealths responsibly is a break-through for receiving abundant wealths from the Lord. This is because God will not worry about giving you as much wealth as you want since you are capable of using them properly.

Below are some guidelines about how you can use wealths after God's will.

1. Pray to the Lord, and do all you can so that your wealths cannot decrease your communion with God, or become your priorities instead of God being your Priority. Remember that the Lord is a Jealous God (Psalm 49:6-14, 62:10, Job 31:24).

2. Do not squander or waste the wealths within your reach, but always use what is enough, and for a good purpose (John 6:12).

3. Be a source of provision to people around you so that the Lord can use you as a channel of wealths for His souls. Being a channel of wealths means you will always possess wealths in such an abundance that you will be able to share with others (Luke 6:30,38; Job 31:16-17; I John 3:17).

4. Never forget to give thanks to God and praise Him for the wealths He has given to you (Deuteronomy 8:10-20, Ephesians 5:20).

5. Never hesitate spending for the profit of the Kingdom of God, it means for the spreading of Gospel and the Church of Christ (Proverbs 3:9-10, I Chronicles 29:3, Luke 12:21 ).

6. When you give, forget that you will have something in return lest it may appear as if you were doing business with God (Ecclesiastes 11:1-2).

7. Always remain humble despite the abundant wealths. Do not boast, but give praise to God (James 4:6, I Timothy 6:17).

8. Keep yourself holy and righteous despite your wealths (Job 1:1-5, I Peter 1:16).

9. Do not allow your riches to prevent you from going to Church meetings and related activities (Hebrews 10:25, Psalm 133).

10. Invest your wealths only in enterprises and projects which solve problems in society or which meet the needs of society (I Chronicles 29:3).

When you earnestly pray that God make you able to manage in this manner and you truly make it your motto, God will not hesitate making you a source of abundant wealths.
