Some People


They have no God stories

They have no intimacy

They have no interaction

with God

otherwise known

as an epiphany.


Their lack of

is simply called

(by them)

humility.



They know the bible

They know principles

They know how to talk the talk

but

they have no Moses glow

They have the know

only of the things they've been

told by someone else

who knows.



They have some wisdom

just not a word of wisdom

and so they wander around

wondering what to really do.




They never change

They stay the same

They're going to heaven

just like you anyway

but they never really

get in the game.



They're humble

that's what they say

they tell you all

the reasons why they're not okay

because they were taught

to be that way.



But you always wonder

if they'd like to know

the God who speaks

and the God who shows

and the God who forgives

through them

but who knows



You may just be the only

voice to which God can

get through to them

to get into them

until they,

yes they

can begin

to hear Him

for themselves.




So they can have

a different life

not without tears

or outward strife

but with faith

in the coaxing

Hand and Face

that guide.



And you wait

for the glow

or the epiphany

but all you get is

blow after blow.



Until one day

God gets 'em

and He get's 'em

good and then


They've got

real stories to tell

and they get excited

and God ignites them

so they're

a live wire

they're walking

on water

they're walking

through fire.



Not just the

12 steps of

getting by

and surviving.

They've moved

beyond

defensive driving.



They actually

get in the

the sane lane,

carpool lane

and show others

Who's driving.


They've moved on

beyond what they're not

They move into

the Spirit of God

and He simply

does the work

they absolutely

could not.



God's gonna get yoooooooooooooooou


So pray for the hurting.

Pray for the lost.

But please pray for the church

that she would wake up

to revival.
