SPIRIT OF GOD

Spirit of God, saved sinner's Friend
I praise Thee for Thy power
You resurrected our Lord Jesus Christ
And worketh still this hour

You take the Word and multiply
Its message to the heart
Bring changes to the inner man
Salvation to impart

Spirit You give witness too
What effectually occured
Sealing that promise to each heart
Who's believed upon Thy Word

God's gurantee? His work is finished
Men can be saved from hell
Spirit of the Living God
You doeth all things well

Heaven's dispatch to the lost
Jesus came to save
He seeketh from the early hour
He seeketh till the grave

Seek Him while He may be found
Harden not your heart
Where the Spirit comes to live
He never will depart

So Lord I thank Thee again today
You give me cause to praise
For that great work at Calvary
To whom the Spirit raised!

Let my light shine anew
Shine for Jesus, shine
For Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
All of Thee are mine.
