A new kingdom has come
since heaven entered earth,
and the power of God
gave to us a new birth.

Death was turned inside out
as our good friend was raised,
so we boldly proclaim
and sing His name in praise.

We will stand up in love
and forgive with His grace,
even though we're threatened
by hearts calloused with hate.

His presence shall live on
as we preach in the street.
They can silence our lips
but He will always speak.

They can sever our heads
or saw us into two,
but we'll cry, "Forgive them,
they know not what they do!"

I will bow before men
in allegiance no more.
My King is in heaven,
and reigns forevermore!
