Poetry
Where have gone the moonlit nights?
Whose airs are clear and stars are bright,
That fill the sky to earths delight,
From dayfall until morning?
Are the city lights so dear?
To forsake sight of orb or sphere,
That lie unseen as angel tears,
And signs of heaven's mourning?
Then will you take me to a place?
Whose nights are lit by God's own grace,
Where sun the moon can freely chase,
And stars may fair be counted?
