Is to be the last one standing
While trying to be at the top
In the mist of would be friends
Who's great to do, was a belly flop

Equiped with a distorted view of self
While suckling from a inner-circle with the same distorted views
Who will save you, who shall dwell in your center?
Hurry! The mind is soon to surrender

The sticky truth
Is hidden in the catacombs
of your perception

Your views on life are crippled with deception
You borrowed them from a hippocratic confession
In the end you shall learn the intended lesson

You often think others cannot be on your level
You have a lot of theories to shovel

The enemy is self
Your constant lack of love for no one else
At the end of the long road
A gruesome story is told

As you sing a song of praise
for yourself
Your essence is not consumed by the human race
It lies lifeless, having on place
It lies dorment on the worlds' shelf
Until you realize who is the enemy of your mind
is indeed satan himself.
