Failing sight or simply short
All truth's not tangible to touch.
Ignorant of aught beyond one's nose
Thoughtless minds seek sweet repose
Half living, lost, life's blood flows.

Should atoms separate from each
Underneath God's watchful eye,
Before he sings the final chant
Suffice to say the soul errant
Takes nothing tucked in coffin's side
Albeit he clings with fearful pride
Nor doth he obscure from view
Choice treasure left untouched and new
Elan destroyed, the doubted-true

Each man claims his chosen creed
Visceral response of Adam's seed
Ignorance championed, innocence pled
Datum proven when blood was shed
Empathic, proffered, heavens breath
Nomism made obsolete by death
Christ Jesus, Sacrificial Lamb
Emmanuel, the Great "I Am."
