A gorgeous, bejeweled, intricately-made chandelier is a beauty to behold, eye-pleasing in every respect. But until it is plugged into the electrical outlet, it gives no light. Riches are somewhat like that. Wealth makes everything accessible that this world has to offer, but aye, and there's the rub. Unless and until it is plugged into the Power Source, it will give neither light to a room nor to a life. Its benefits are strictly earthbound.

On the other hand, a 40-watt light bulb is not much to look at, but when it is plugged in, it will give light. So it is that poverty, perhaps not pretty, but plugged into spiritual power, will be effective in its assignment. So the constant here, in both cases, is the God connection. It is the necessary element to giving the light that makes life worthwhile and eternity secure. In other words, what you see (a beautiful chandelier or a 40-watt bulb) is what you get unless you make the Power Connection. So plug it in; plug it in!
