The Sheep’s Gate

Have you wondered why morning devotion to the Lord is an important way to start your day? Many of us find it difficult to wake up to work without our daily dose of caffeine. There are habits and rituals which we follow each morning for 365 days to get ourselves jumpstarted for life.

In John 10: 9, Jesus said “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture”. We identify with the sheep. As we awaken and find our way out of our pen, we cannot leave without passing the “gate”. It is so clear that Jesus wants each of us to come through Him everyday because it is only through Jesus that we are able to find our “pasture”.

Are you falling into unfavourable work circumstances or struggling in discouragement or losing friends or just thinking you’re simply the most unfortunate person on earth? Find your pasture through Jesus Christ.
