Reach out and touch someone else’s heart
Be a blessing like they’re your best friend
We all need a word of appreciation
The benefits of kindness have no end.

Tell someone how good they’re doing today
It doesn’t hurt to put a smile on their face
We all need some kind of motivation
Encourage that competitor to finish every race.

Your kindness may mean a world of difference
Your blessing can put pep in someone’s step
People get so tired of hearing from a critic
But encouraging words they will never forget.

Let someone know they have great potential
Give them encouragement to do their very best
Then watch them explode with their hidden talents
And then God will take over and He’ll do the rest.
