I'm holding onto Your garments Lord,
It's the best I can do right now.
I don't understand, and my heart's in shreds,
but I'm holding on somehow.

Did we do something wrong?
Were we lost all along,
to believe in Your love and Your power?
Where were You my Lord,
when death took it's sword,
Where were You in his darkest hour?

I want to have Faith.
I want to have Hope.
I want to have courage tomorrow.
But, tonight I despair, are You really there?
In this world full of heartbreak and sorrow.

So I'm holding onto your garments Lord.
Your hand is just too far away.
Soon I can sleep, wake up and weep,
Tomorrow is just one more day.
