WHY DID YOU MAKE ME SO-?

I cried so many times- Lord why did you make me so?

From child to teen and even in-between?

Now - as an adult-

I have seen- the answer serene!

Who can touch the heart of someone else- for whom being no fault of his or her own-

Have grown up with a disability- they didn’t own?

Yet this is what life for them has dished- something- for no one else- they would wish-

But who can touch the heart- and say -I CARE- other than those for whom life has made them BARE- this disability-

One might say -I know your pain- I know your tears- but only those who were born this way or in this pain- can truly say – I know- I understand

-Today I saw such a one- One who did just that - who knows the pain- the embarrassment- the isolation- the loneliness-the rejection

He now thanks God- He can reach out – He can touch the hearts- the lives for those for whom no voice was found- like no one else can

He can express to them- there is –MUCH LOVE- still- to go around-

Born without legs and arms - He can and does express LOVE in a way no one else can.

I wouldn’t have known about this young man- except today-I was watching Foxtel 601 on the programme-20/20

I am so enthralled at his courage- his love- his selfless heart - this young man to whom loneliness and rejection were words and feelings he grew up with- He is able to reach out, with out arms and legs, yet touches the lives of thousands- across the land.

Giving Hope-love–acceptance -bridging the void- by- breaking down barriers- even crossing land and sea.

He was asked about the success of- being able to attest to His ability and opportunity to take what life had dished- and turn it round to use and assist-

“Would you -if you could-

Ask God now- to give you arms and legs?”

The young man smiled a beautiful smile-

“Yes I might- I know He could- but even if He doesn’t- I trust Him.
He knew God has some better arms and legs on the other side. But if this is how he is to be used by God to bridge the gap of human suffering through his disability. ”To him who life did dish- has turned it around - and made it assist. 30/04/08 BrendaVN ©
