Untapped Power

There is a fount where we can go
Where the healing waters forever flow
A place unseen by human eyes
A land where untapped power lies

This haven exists and the fount is real
This power untapped can restore and heal
Here, where sins will be forgiven
In the untapped power of Heaven

Only through faith can a heart see
The Blessed Fount that sets captives free
Believe in Christ, in this very hour
You can draw from this untapped power

Family in Christ,

This is a string of messages I received today. I see revivals on TV. I read about healing online. I hear testimonies of so much that God has and can do. Yet, I feel that we, as believers, have barely touched this untapped power.

Read the New Testament and you will see a large list of gifts, miracles, signs and wonders performed. They were not just performed by Jesus and the Apostles. They were performed by many believers. The mustard seed of faith that can move mountains we have inherited with our salvation. We are given a measure of faith! It does not matter if my portion is smaller or large than someone else’s. What matters is that I have a measure and that the tiniest bit can do the miracles the entire Bible describes. By my faith in Jesus and my relationship with Him, I can glorify God and be used to perform the same miracles and signs as I speak the Gospel. These are fruits of faith that help testify and confirm the Gospel. If we go forth as commission by Jesus to spread the Gospel, first locally then outward, then signs and miracles will follow.

We have all we need to draw from this untapped power to spread the Gospel! We have all we need to draw from this untapped power to heal the sick! We have all we need to cast out demons! We have all we need to follow Jesus’ and the Apostle’s example of ministry. Go fulfill the Great Commission! Go spread the Gospel to all the world! We have all we need to tap into the power of Christ!
