He took the earth empty and bare
Fashioned for us a place so rare
The stars He created for the night
A sunrise then sunset, for our delight.

The ocean He gave a birthplace
Spoke forth a womb to keep in place.
There dwell Snails and Whales of the deep
Where the Porpoise abounds and Lobsters creep.

His Eminence designed the flower
A beauty formed by an awesome power.
A tiny seed became a tree
The homage for Ants and the Honeybees.

The birds He gave sweet songs to sing
Took the time to fashion a bloom for spring
The Elephant and a Giraffe
The Hyena who makes a sound like a laugh.

Adam formed from dust of the earth
Put him to sleep so He could give Eve birth.
The seventh day he took a rest
To take time to look over what he blest.
