My husband is my very best friend,
My thoughts reflect on our lifetime romance,
How he smiled at me whenever we danced…
I often prayed wanting "us" to never end.


Married with two children now
I love him all the more
The fruits of love still showing
As we all keep joyfully growing.


In my soul I knew
He was the man
Protecting and caring for me…
Spoiling me with great compassion
Was his wonderful, unfailing plan.
He was determined to win my heart
Though he'd won me already…from the start.


I thank God always for another day
Allowing me a new moment
Where I can pour out the words to say,
" I love you " just one more time
To my best friend …my loving husband.

Having had the opportunity to meet your husband and spend time with your beautiful family, I didn't need to read this poem to know how you honor and love him. I do hope he's blushing and gushing with joy and love over what you two share - a true blessing from above. Love you guys! Jody

Your love poem is a wonderful tribute to your husband...Good for Father's Day in a month. Good for Mother's Day, just passed. Good for your anniversary, whenever that is. Good for every day of your life....They are also sentiments that anyone who has a loving husband (like mine also) can use...Thanks for this inspirational poem...God bless you, Julie...Helen
