Young teacher, my friend, you are on your way
Rest in Jesus, for your journey starts this very day
He is preparring you now, and has been for a while
Yes, even then, back then since you were a child
The plan He has mapped out for you with His mighty hand
Is a perfect one with firm ground, teaching you to stand
In the book of Isaiah, He tells us to "fear not"
And rest assurred in His love, for you have been bought
By the most precious and powerful Savior's Blood
Remember He lives in you, abundant like a flood
Your calling is a significant one to carry out
Lean on Him to give up all your doubt
For your strength and knowledge are not your own
They are a gift from Him; He made your every bone
He does trust you with teaching the little,big, and small
So, seek ye first the kingdom of God, and rise when you fall
Hold on to Jesus, for when you teach, He will teach you
Through this journey of life you will be student too
Now go forth into this world and stand firm to teach
Because it is these little ones, He sent for you to reach
