Little boy age of four
waking daddy from a sleeping snore
There are monsters underneath my bed
And monkeys swinging over head
Please daddy come and see
The really big monster and hairy monkey
They wait for me to close my eyes
dreaming of happy meals with fries
Daddy gets up to look around
But not one monster can be found
He looks in the closet nothing there
he turns to his son to ask him where
where is this monster, wheres the monkey
I look and look but cannot see
He tucks the boy in bed nice and tight
Thinking he's ok till morning light
but before he gets back into bed
He hears him scream the monkeys over head
he returns to find his son under the bed
Assuming he's hiding from the monkey overhead
But where is the monster if your under there
He is playing with my toys out there somewhere
Well where is this monkey you claimed to see
He's scared of the monster so he's under here with me....
