As we grew, and left her home
We would visit, now and then
It didn't matter where we'd roam
We'd always go see her again

It was a very special feeling . . .
When entering through her door
Always the same, floor to ceiling
With lot of love, in store

We would all gather together
For every known occasion
Happiness, floating like a feather
Good food, adding to the persuasion

We'd sit and chat, spreading cheer
Sharing our love, with one another
So comfortable, having each near
Altogether, visiting Dad and Mother

Remembering now, as I look back
Mother made everything turn out right
Of each one of us. . . she kept track
Plus, she prayed for us, day and night

It was an invisible cord that attached us
All strung together, as one
Every visit Mom would raise such a fuss
So happy, she almost came undone

Those sweet days, have long since, past
We kids aren't as close as before
Living to hard, moving too fast
Not making time to visit. . . Anymore

Memories made over the years
Will have to see us . . .Through
The joy, laughter, love, tears
Held together by . . .“Mothers Glue”

I enjoyed all the "rememberances" of your mother. I especially liked this, "Memories made over the years -- Will have to see us . . .Through -- The joy, laughter, love, tears
Held together -- By . . .“Mothers Glue”"

I enjoyed your poem very much. My mother went to heaven in 1986 but she taught me well. Many memories. Be sure to make your own memories with your family. GOD BLESS YOU
