As the bright new rays of dawn dispel darkness every morn,
The light of Christ has burst within my soul.
Like the sun's red fiery blaze burns up the early morning haze,
The fog that clouds my mind has lost its hold.

Now so clearly I can see what my Saviour did for me,
Which once was only darkness to my mind;
How the Father's perfect love sent Lord Jesus from above:
Great mystery of grace, by God designed.

By God's Law all stand condemned; every mortal soul has sinned,
And there is no one righteous in His sight;
But in death Christ took the place of all those who come by faith:
The weakness of the cross displays His might.

Resurrection testifies to God's Law being satisfied;
Reparation's been made by Jesus Christ.
Fear of death no longer rules; my new life in Christ assured;
No need for any further sacrifice.

Jesus Christ, our Risen Lord, whose blood seals our peace with God
Ever lives to intercede at God's throne.
Heaven's angel's joy abounds; one more lost sheep has been found:
Good Shepherd leads another sinner home.

Holy, Holy!! is the cry of angelic hosts on high;
Forever they rejoice before I Am;
May we one day take our place in that throne room on our face,
Saved sinners who've been rescued by The Lamb!!
