How have you answered the questions of life?

Have you ever considered what it would be like to break down your life into the questions you have answered throughout its term? Have fun with these as you go back down “memory lane”.


I. Starting Out

1) What friends will I choose? Who will choose me as a friend?

2) Should I be outgoing or introverted?

3) What experiences sparked these decisions?

4) What interests me as hobbies? A career?

5) Shall I marry or remain single?

6) What qualities am I looking for in the person I marry?

7) What do I believe about God?

8) Should I commit my life to Him or make it a more distant relationship? Is the spiritual side of my life important to me?


II. Mid-life Management

9) What are my goals for this part of my life?

10) Should I stay with the job I have or seek other employment?

11) Should I return to school for more training?

12) Can I begin investing for my retirement or should I wait?

13) How can I help my children to succeed?

14) What role does God have in this part of my life?

15) Am I a forgiving person? Have I carried around hurts that should be dealt with?

16) Does being a senior citizen and retirement scare me?


III. “The last of life for which the first was made”

17) How do I feel about this portion of my life?

18) Are goals important to me now?

19) What will I do with my extra time?

20) What am I “in for” during this stage of my life? What quality of life will I have? Will my friends and family be there when I need them? Does God or anyone care about what I am going through?

21) What happens after I die? Will my family be taken care of? How will I be remembered by those who loved me?

22) Is what the Bible says about death true? Have I made the right spiritual choices during my life? If not, is it too late to change them? Does God still love me as a senior citizen?

23) Is there anyone I have hurt during my lifetime that I need to make amends with? Is it still possible to forgive after all these years?

24) If I am not at peace, where can I find it? Have I been close to God or ignored Him? Does He have the answers I am seeking?

Whatever the outcome of examining all these questions is, it helps to reflect and analyze what has transpired in your life? God cares about you in every phase of your existence and is waiting to help you, if you will let Him. He loves you very much, and will be there when you call to Him Life may be uncertain at times, but God is a constant that never changes.
