The donkey knows its owner as do the horse and mule;
Proud man alone opposes his Master's rightful rule.
The birds know they're to migrate; know when and where to go,
Overseas or interstate, come rain, hail,wind or snow.

The salmon leaves the wide seas, returning home to spawn;
His birthplace he finds with ease, where years before was born.
Only stubborn man decides to walk to his own plan,
But what this rebellion hides we need to understand.

When at first man was made, he walked with God in peace.
From the day he disobeyed, this fellowship has ceased.
Apart from God, man's adrift, unable to obey;
Perhaps we could mend the rift? Oh friend--there is a way!

Through the cross of Jesus Christ and His blood shed for you,
You can have abundant life and God will walk with you.
Repent, believe, trust in Him; your faith will make you whole;
God, in love for fallen man, through Christ will save your soul.

A great day is yet to come; the world will be renewed;
Christ will reign on David's throne, all stumbling blocks removed;
There, we find our proper place in harmony with God;
All creation is at peace; Hallelujah!! Come oh Lord!!
