This is written for family members who do not know my Jesus.

I Must Wait

Romans 9: 1-3
I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh.

If I could pen a masterpiece to break your heart and cause your eyes to be opened, I would. If I could take you to the cross and show you my Savior bleeding and dying, I would. If I could reach the deep stoniness of your heart and knead and press it until soft, I would. If I could gather His love and store it in a bottle then pour the warmth of His cleansing blood all over you, I would. If only I could repent for you, I would. If I could say a prayer that would save you, I would. For if I could wish myself accursed for you to be saved, I would. If only I could make you believe, but I can’t……only He can. And I must wait for His timing. His timing is not mine….so I must wait.

I will pray and I will wait. For my God’s arms have not been shortened. His all-consuming power will never be stopped. There is nothing too hard for Him. His plans for your life are perfect….even though I cannot see them. His grace is everlasting and His mercy endureth forever. His glory is being purposed in all things. My God reigns.

My assignment is to wait patiently, to show you His love….and believe.
