Come to the circus!
Come to the show!
The show that plays all day and night.
All sorts of performers,
All human of course,
But be careful
As humans can bite!

Hear the actors and actresses
cry; look at me!
Watch the swimmers
as they reach their goals.
See the dancers who jive
around in the heat,
Hear the singers
who sing from their souls.

We have runners who race
to their heart's content,
Prisoners breaking their own record.
Watch the lonely hearts
break up all on their own,
Poor, no money for food to afford.

Come to the circus!
Come to the show!
The biggest performance,
I trust.
There's a circus on
every street in the world,
which consists of
performers like us.
