Hanging there in time and space,
Alone He bears the world's disgrace;
A ransom for the human race;
Hate, by perfect love erased.

Two thousand years have now elapsed;
Millions out of time have passed;
Man's days like flowers of the grass:
The wind blows; their fame is past.

Delusion's standing at the door,
If in this world you set your store;
Man's place remembers him no more
As it forgets all gone before.

Eternity is in man's heart
As God ordained it at the start;
Your days on earth the minor part,
The major, after you depart.

Fond praises to departed friends
No comfort to delusion brings;
No mention made of guilt or sins;
Recalling only worthwhile things.

But death a bargain does not make
When to the grave your sins you take;
The last trump sounds and you awake
Forever lost in Hell's fiery lake.

With all my heart I urge---Repent!!
Believe in Christ whom God has sent!!
To save your soul is God's intent;
Hell's lake for you was never meant.

Alone---He paid the ransom price,
God's salvation---Jesus Christ;
But you must make the final choice:
Will you choose death?? Will you choose life??
