No thoughts from any mortal mind
Could touch upon your worth;
Unless your Spirit gives them life
The flesh is frothing forth.
No words can any wordsmith write
To ever speak your thoughts;
Except your Spirit shines His light
All words amount to naught.
The song the greatest singer sings
Is vacant lonesome noise,
Unless your Spirit plucks the strings
Anointing words and voice.
No worship can a sinner bring
Before your holy throne;
All praising is an unclean thing
If sin is not atoned.
A chasm stands twixt God and man
No sinful flesh can cross,
But Christ, the seed of Abraham
Was made the Way for us.
God revealed the truth in Christ;
In Him --- His final Word---
The fount of everlasting life---
Hosanna to The Lord!!!
