Lets take a walk together, shall we
Its to Cemetery, I'd like for us to go
I want to explain my thoughts, you see
Thoughts, I think everyone should know

I wanted to share this time with you
It shouldn't be put of, till tomorrow
As we pass this way, I am wondering
If we could weigh, the sadness and sorrow

These here, had plans and many dreams
With loved ones, they have left behind
Being here wasn't part of their schemes
But, to their future, they were blind

Did they know, the importance of each day
Did they love, were they good and kind
Did they help others along the way. . . .
Did they love God, with heart, soul and mind

Was each prepared, for their hereafter
Did Jesus meet them, at "Death's Door"
Are they with Him . . .In Heaven now
Or locked in "Hell" forevermore. . . .

I don't want you to think me. . .Morbid
Expressing thoughts, on this matter
But. . rather buried six feet deep
Or remains are cremated, to scatter

Its what we do with each new day. . .
Helping others, sharing, spreading love
Being careful, what we do, and words we say
For that "Call" can come quickly. . .From above!
