You are always gracious and I'm grateful for your love
You watch over all my life and reign in Heaven above
You know all the things that happen to me everyday
You know all the bad things too and by my side you stay
You see how often things go wrong for me because of me
You see the mess I end up in and still you set me free
My trials become lessons that you've wanted me to learn
They shape me and they teach me that to you I must return
It is your grace and mercy and your love that gets me through
In all my hurt and sorrow I have learnt to lean on you
You are my only Saviour, you're my way, my truth, my life
In this world of darkness you're my only guiding light
