Abba daddy,
bring me into your sweet presence
cling to me, caress my furrowed brow and
don’t deny my less than perfect
efforts to love you.
forgive and forget my present and furture sins,
grant me grace and graciousness that has no end.
Halleluja that I am loved by a God like you,
the great I Am, it’s incredible that I can also call you my friend
Journey the distance from my head to my heart and
keep me from returning to a pursuit of knowledge rather than
languishing in your love, adoring and praising you.
My soul hungers for you in my dry and thirsty life
Nothing but you will satisfy me
Only your touch will bring healing, hope and
promises realized.
Questions may come and I know that you
realize my humanity and will answer me
softly, gently and without judgement.
Take my life in all it’s components
until you have finished the work that you have started in me.
“Victory in Jesus” is my anthem and battle cry.
Warrior princess, I long for your return to me...
X my king, my beloved, my betrothed.
Your bride prepares herself for the day of your coming
and then I will be yours for time everlasting in Zion.

This was a tough "mini" challenge to go from A to Z, and try to rhyme every line, and stay within one topic! I like this line near the end, Your bride prepares herself for the day of your coming . God bless you.

I liked how the words of the poem flowed. This poem was more than a "mini" challenge - it was someone adequately expressing their love for their Lord. I especially liked the j-k-l lines.
