Before I even hear your views on the Spirit
I want you to know all that I think goes with it

Not from my eyes but those out of the world
Those of our Lord, for He’s about to hurl

The end is near for the Truth to reign
And how you got baptized is not the main stain

Or even if you were never baptized at all
Does this mean that you won’t hear the call?

You see like the world we’ve all forgotten whose in charge
Who can do as He pleases even though we’ve read the cards?

And He will not leave a soul behind
That believes in Him, He’s one of a kind

And all paths taken by those who believe
Lead to Love, the Judgment and the Seed

For Jehovah Rapha will come sooner than soon
And it won’t matter if you sing a different tune

What matters is whether you believe in Him
You might get demerits but you’ll still get in

What’s most important is that people believe
And what happens next is the Holy Spirits grief

If “immersion” as I understand it to be
Was the key to the Kingdom there’d be many lost at sea?

And to say what you say, sends chills down my spine
For it makes God a liar and me not forgiven
And all that He’s changed in my life
You mean I won’t go to heaven?

How my prayers have been answered and many miracles done
Why one prayer was answered exactly as spun
Spoken out loud at work to another,
From my mouth and a clients to a suffering brother
Well actually a sister and what was asked of our Lord came true
To the tee, like we said God would do


So go ahead and believe what you need for your soul
God gives us a choice and how is the Holy Spirits role

For making the rules as we all seem to do so contradictory
So worldly, so wrong

For it chases away the growing throng
Of people that is, that God has created
For He came for all who believe in Him
And Jesus is the answer for all in sin

Simon the sorcerer
Played the game got immersed
But he did not believe in Jesus first
And Philip had forgotten you see
To say “and the Holy Spirit” to the Samaritan free
And that’s why I think Peter and John were called
It was part of God’s plan the story of it all
For you see the bible only tells us a little
Of what happened back then we have to fill in the middle
And Jesus never said it has to be done this way or that
But in the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit

Didn’t He come to abolish the law, why do we always make more?

Do you think if an apostle were here right now?
He’d load up a bus and head to the mall,
Or maybe a river, or lake or the sea,
Why you changed the rules by making a font
Like communion done different, what is it we want?
Who are we to suppose what is God’s mercy?

It’s time for simple
The harvest of souls
It says He’ll use a sickle
No time for a hose
Wake up believers
The Lord’s Day is at hand
He’s coming to us all and at His command
Not yours or mine or this church or that
But for those who believe in His name that’s all

It’s His Grace, His Love, His Rule and His Way
And He will not care about our rules on that day
But He’ll look and He’ll know who are His
Not who you or I but what He decides

What a fool am I as I drop to my knees and jump up high
And Praise Him, the Lamb, the gracious most High
Who loved me and fashioned me in the womb
And called me to Him as I grew
Because He loves us first
And without any belief
And then calls
And asks

Do you believe in Me?
