"If there were a crystal ball to see into the future of life, how wonderful that would be"! Or would it? As uncertain as life is; as full of twists and turns as life is, it could not be assured that white we might see within such a sphere of the future would be all joy and light.

Since life is more hill and valley than not, perhaps it is best to be blind to it, so to speak. If it were possible to see the situations and outcomes before they come, there would be more reason to spend life worrying than in joy; there would be less reason to draw near to God and to praise Him for the comfort and help that He offers.

Sometimes life is so overwhelming with worry and sorrow, it utterly brings the soul to its knees. While on its knees the soul needs a strong enough power to lift it up to stand. The only power strong enough to lift up such faith is the author of that faith.

There is no need for a Christian to be a captain of the future. The same God who has created everything and everyone is in full control of everything, of every person, and every situation. He will lovingly guide His creation through the course of the map He has charted out from the beginning of time.

The future is in control; indeed, it will play out, as if it were a beautiful; each note of the melody being composed through God's wisdom and design. While God does not promise a smoothe walk along the Heavenward road, He offers peace and joy along the way for the rough places.

There is a Master who manages the worries, frustrations, and sorrows of life so that there is no need to do so. God has Mastered the "unknowns" of life.

"Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am." -John 13:13
