Prayers

Yes, I know there are a lot of people who are a lot worse off than I am. I know too that God expects me to ask the faithful for prayer when I need it ---AND I NEED IT NOW PLEASE.
I spent a most miserable morning in the dentist office getting x-rays and such. I can't tell you how embarassed I am over the happenings of the last week. In fact the last 3 1/2 yrs. between divorce and becoming a widow have been a living nightmare.
The left side of my face was swollen from Friday evening to Monday...I called and talked to my dentist and he said it was likely "sinuses" and told me to go see my doctor. I went to the doctor who absolutely went 180 on me and said I had some really "shotty" dental work done on my teeth recently and sent me to another dentist along with giving me some amoxcillin to take.
I don't think I've mentioned that after 41 yrs of marriage my husband and I divorced, leaving me without health care, dental, eye exams, the whole 9 yards. I have been holding on the best I could. I recently went on social security and have no other income, anyway, come to find out I must have real tooth problems as she (the dentist) said it appeared to her that one tooth was "likely dead and two others are in bad shape. She says I need at least 2 root canals and wanted to send me to Owensboro, KY which is about 2 hours from here but I found another dentist in Hopkinsville, KY which is much closer. I am going on the 31st to have this looked at by him. Am praying for a miracle that it won't be what the lady dentist said. She said to save my teeth it would likely be between $3-$4thousand dollars. (WHAT?)
Anyway, while I was at the doctor he looked at a place on the left side of my face which is now about the size of a large quarter (some techincal name -- cyst of some sort?) and said it has to come off. I've had it about 5 years but couldn't afford to get it cut off...doctor says this is not cosmetic surgery but a health issue..so going to see that specialist on April 2nd...then I got to talking to him about having trouble walking in malls and on concete floors...so I am going to go see another guy about that on the 24th. Since I already have arthritis and neck problems from a wreck I was in at the age of 20...well....anyway...I guess I'm having a "makeover" year....so there are lots of things I need prayer for if you or ANYONE else cares to pray about it.
The amoxcillin is working on my face and the swelling is only about 10% now. Started coughing up yellow junk...don't know if that's from the infection on the teeth or if it's from the flu that I have been getting over. At any rate God is still taking care of me and I'm still trucking on.... God is faithful and has never let me down. It is going to be interesting to see what He is going to do in these "troublesome" areas for a widow.
Oh, by the way, my ex-husband divorced me and remarried two times in the next year and a half and then died less than 3 years from the time we divorced. I am living on his social security as his wives weren't married to him long enough to qualify and I had never worked outside the home.
Prayer is appreciated...Frances
