Oh! I wonder what everyone thought. . .
When they saw Jesus' stone, rolled away
Was it true what He said, had some forgot
Didn't He say. . . He'd rise on the 3rd Day


Were they dumbfounded, in a state of shock
Did they fall to their knees, in praise
Were the Guards mumbling, unable to talk
Looking in the empty Tomb, through the sun ray's


They must have conducted a search, of sorts
It would seem the logical thing, to do
For all their suspicion, and angry retorts
The Tomb lay empty, through and through


The Lord Jesus has risen, it was plain to see
His mission on earth, accomplished on that Cross
Sacrificing His life, Just to set all man free
To save our soul's, He suffered the loss


So . . . Let us rejoice, with praise in our heart
For He Has Risen, Our Savior and Lord
Let us repent, of our ways. . .with a new start
With entrance to Heaven, as our reward!
