We live in a nation of truth or dare,
where no one seems to really care.
Teachers try to help students and
give them praise.
But the rules for the schools
is to leave out God and no one prays.
Bored with their classes and their books,
they shun their Teachers with dirty looks.
Some with pants sagging down to their knees,
now who is it they are trying to please?
Some spend hours getting braids,
while others are dodging drug raids.
It is no longer just silly writing on
Bathroom walls,
because violence is rampant throughout the halls.
We all need to get back to what our nation
used to be,
and humble ourselves on bended knee.
