Don't Blame Others

Genesis 3:12
And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

How many times have we heard someone say "It's not my fault"? Then many times we use the excuse, they made me do it. Just like Adam, we want to play the blame game. We don't want to take responsibility for what we have done wrong. God expects believers to get rid of their old nature, and admit when we have done wrong. To receive forgiveness we must admit to ourselves and to God, the sins that we have committed. Instead of blaming others, let us be responsible for our actions. When we are wrong, let us be willing to admit it. Not to make others look like it is their fault. When we sin and fail God, let us ask for forgiveness. Let us be willing to admit that we made a mistake. Not to play the blame game. God wants us to repent so that we can receive His forgiveness.

Don't Place The Blame On Others

Lord, help me to be honest with You
No matter what awful sins I do

Let me admit to things that I have done wrong
Through Your love and forgiveness, I can grow strong

Lead me to take the correct action
To live my life to Your satisfaction

Lord, let me not play the blame game
Let me repent to receive forgiveness in Jesus' name

Let me stand and admit, what I have done wrong
So that in Your truth, I can stay where I belong

Forgive me for placing blame on others
That could hurt my sisters and brothers

Lead me each and everyday
To live in Your truth in every way

Let me seek Your forgiveness for all my sins
So that Jesus can cleanse me within
