You Calm My Storm



How calm the day is after

Damaging storms

The might of the waves

Crashed and crushed the shore.

The storm raged in anger

You Lord are in the power

Of the oceans, Your voice is

Treasure from the deep

For I heard You when

My mind was at war with myself.

You took me from the

Deep waves and placed me at

Your feet, Your spirit breathed

New life into me and restored

Me to new beginnings.

Your hand is the one that guides

Me all my days.
