We should not rejoice when someone has failed to live in God’s commandments and strays outside of His protection.

In this hour and day, our enemy is devising plans to bring destruction to anyone that calls Jesus Lord and those that don’t. For that reason, we must stay close to Him during this season of onslaught. People would be foolish to flirt with sin but if they do, as Christians, we should quickly go to their sides to help bring restoration. Any one of us could be the person to bring the gospel of salvation to them and any one of us could also plunge to despair.

Our human natures sometimes want to condemn a person that openly sins against God and man. Even when a person sins, God still sees the potential He put in them to succeed. We must intend to join God’s vision for them and offer help if possible.

If we don’t know someone personally that has sinned, we can agree with God that they will be restored and renewed to live out God’s will for their lives.

PRAYER
We cannot judge the severity of any sin. That is God’s job and He has set aside a day for judgment. Help us have a heart of compassion and understanding to pray for another’s loss instead of cheering. Amen.
