Repentance
Repentance in the midst of darkness
Your world is caving in
God is leading with his staff
To where the sun shines in.
Repentance in the midst of sorrow
God hears your every cry
He is waiting for you to come
His arms are open wide.
Repentance in the midst of famine
God will grant your needs
He will fill thirst and hunger
Come down upon your knees.
Repentance in the midst of wrongs
It’s not too late to come
Every fault can be forgiven
His grace is sin undone.
Repentance in the midst of storms
The rain is pouring down
Giving no more than he can handle
Call you will not drown

Danette, I am so glad when we repent, God is faithful and just to forgive us. We could use more poems like this these days. I notice there is always a blessing on the other side of repentance. Thanks for sharing this message...Hugs
