As the sun begins to rise I watch you waken. A new day is here,
24 hrs to live anew, to make dreams come true, to change a life.
You open your eyes and stretch, will you acknowledge Me? Will
You talk to Me? Will you start your day in My presence?

As your day begins and you go through your routines, I am here
waiting, waiting for you to come and sit with Me awhile, but you
don’t.

Noon comes, you take a break to eat, surely now you will remember
Me, surely you will come and sit with Me; but you rush back to your
job, your chores, your books and your tv.

Evening comes, I still watch and wait, maybe now you will find the
time to pray, to talk – I sit disappointed; you are still too busy for
Me.

Night has come, the end of the day, you are in bed and still you have
no time for Me. I watch in sadness, I watched your frustrations
throughout the day. I saw your pains and your tears. I could not help
you because you never asked Me to. I was there, I was waiting, I am
here, I am waiting still.

Who is your true love? Am I your true love? Is My voice the one you
long to hear? Do you desire to be in My presence as I long to be in
yours? Do I consume your every thought? Does your heart leap at the
thought of Me?

You are My special creation. I created you for fellowship. I created
you to worship Me. I watch you struggle through your days, waiting
for you to call upon Me, to ask Me for help. Don’t you know that My
yoke is easy, My burden is light? I want so much to lift that load from
your shoulders. How I delight in your laughter, your smiles, your songs.

Now as I watch you sleeping, 24 hrs has gone, gone without Me in
your thoughts. I’ll stay here watching and waiting. I’ll whisper to
you in your dreams. I’ll be here when you wake again. What will the
next 24 hrs bring? Will you come to Me or will you once again struggle
through carrying your burdens, defeated, discouraged, lonely? Don’t
shut Me out. Let Me into your life, your thoughts, your fears and
your dreams.

I am here , waiting, arms open wide.
