You don't match me in stamina,
You won't match me in speed,
Cuz when the long run's in sight,
I'll be the one takin' the lead

You could beat me in body length,
You could beat me in height,
But NO WAY could you beat me in a race,
Cuz that's when my ability takes flight

You may have been 1st at the starting line,
I might not have been seen around the bend,
But I'll tell you the truth, cuz not much do I lie,
I'll be the 1st in the end
