Dear Mr. Unpleasant and Mrs. Lack of Patience,

I have been notified by an urgent memo found in Ephesians 4 that you have taken up residence in my thoughts and my heart. This memo has been confirmed by the Chief Executive Officer, the most revered Holy Spirit, as true and factual and has been classified as an urgent issue that needs to be addressed promptly. The Chief Executive also stated that this residency was in direct violation of the contract that I signed with New Self Corporation when I accepted the position of a Child of the King.

I am writing this letter to give you notice that your residency here is at an end. I understand that you have prospered greatly at my expense. Your garden of negativity and discouragment has yielded quite the crop throughout your stay. You have uprooted the joy that used to flourish within me. I have allowed you to turn my sanctuary into a dump with one justification after another of my circumstances. So many times you would come to my aide at my moments of weakness and prey on my unguarded thoughts. You helped convince me that if I just used you to vent my frustrations I would feel better. Little did I know, you were injecting my heart with a poison that would eventually fade my spirit into a self-reliable instrument of indifference.

Thanks to Ephesians 4, light has been cast into the abyss of darkness where you dwell. This is an official letter of termination of our relationship. If you decide to come knocking again - I will forewarn you that you will be greeted by a new attitude that will let you know there is no vacancies. I have renewed my contract with New Self Corporation through much prayer and teamed up directly with CEO Holy Spirit to ensure this relationship stays terminated.
