It suddenly hit me like a bolt out of the blue that
Whilst I was busy complaining in my heart and thinking about recent events, developments and difficulties that had just taken residence with me,
Pictures flew past like a video reel in my mind’s eye how ungrateful I had become in my thoughts

I have dwelt so long in this valley and I have only been seeing all the impossibilities and the mounting obstacles that I completely shifted focus without realizing it and had begun to give a very big part of me to unnecessary, backward moving, hindering and destructive thoughts

How easy it is to derail and move on to the path of subtle destruction without realizing it; there are so many ways a man can be destroyed.
Emotional, physical, psychological, social, financial, Marital, so many ways

Suddenly, a thought drops in, of past victories, major breakthrough that were thought provoking, total turn around and dramatic changes in events that defied rational human analysis or solution, also safe landings in extremely rough rides and REALLY WALKING THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH and not being scathed nor burnt, practically NO SCARS TO SHOW FOR IT!

Suddenly I grew numb and realised what an ungrateful child i had become to my father in Heaven, immediately I became humbled in my spirit, body and soul.
Events that I was not in control of, situations that I was totally helpless to change or do anything about, except to moan and groan in deep, silent and personal pain, suddenly changed without any exceptional interference on my part in prayer or any other way.
LOVE WAS DISPLAYED TO ME AND A FATHER’S HEART WAS SHOWN IN FULL GLOW

Why will I not be ever so grateful?
I am grateful because I remember
I am grateful because I know Him
His ways remain the same, today
Like yesterday and even tomorrow
Can not change Him who is I AM
