Negative emotions hold us back from being free to live the life we were always meant to live. If we are free from the inside out then we truly have inner peace. This inner peace cannot come to anyone who is plagued with negative emotions.

I have learned first hand just what devastating affects living with negative emotions can have. My life was ravaged by panic and fear and eventually agoraphobia. I was homebound for quite some time due to this and it has taken me years to realize that all of this was due to negative emotions.

"When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul." Psalm 94:19 (NIV)

As much as I have suffered alot through this journey through the wilderness of fear, I can honestly say that I am much better as a result of this experience. This has enabled me to look deeper into myself and truly change from the inside out. I had to face all my emotions head on and one by one, little by little grow from panic to peace.

The more positive and balanced my emotions become the more emotionally free I am. Gradually, I became paralyzed by my emotions and now gradually I am becoming emotionally free and for the first time I have more inner peace than I ever knew possible.

Recovery is the most difficult challenge I have ever had to face.At the same time it has been marked as the most,rewarding work I have ever done(with God's help of course). I look forward to continuing to grow and flourish into the woman God has always intended me to be. For the first time I am embracing myself and it is truly amazing!

Life is a walk and our emotions our a part of us. We must face them and give them attention positively or they will force their way out in a variety of negative ways.


I no longer need to be trapped inside of myself any longer by my negative emotions that have held me back for the past over thirty years.
I had so many repressed trapped feelings that needed to be surrendered to God.

Praise Him for the work He does in the lives of His children!
He has been transforming me from an injured maimed butterfly into one that can fly free! What Jesus has done for me He can do for you, no matter what the circumstance.

If you are someone who is hurting from negative emotions and if these emotions are holding you back then I urge you to begin the process of surrender to Him. Jesus cares for you and wants all of you including your emotions.He especially wants to heal you from the ones that are robbing you of joy.

I love all of Isaiah 61; I stand on His promise that I will receive beauty for ashes. My life tranformed in beauty to replace the ashes of my past and the ashes of my mind.

"and provide for those who grieve in Zion-to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor." Isaiah 61:3 (NIV)
