PRAISE GOD FOR OUR PASTOR

Praise God I had a pastor
He loved to preach and sing
His burden for the souls of men
Top priority in everything

Witness to a faithful man
Called of God I know
Humble in those everyday tasks
That preachers are called unto

But until I came to the Lord
I did not know how deep
Was the love of God in him
For all the worlds lost sheep

When we sang he sometimes wept
T’was unashamedly
As he wiped away those tearful eyes
Through mine I could hardly see

Touched by the Spirit, worship came
To visit us that day
God had pressed out the winepress of praise
And His Glory came our way.

O Hallelujah sing it,
With tears of joy mingled in
Praise God for so great Salvation
Jesus Christ has died for our sins
