Today I look outside my window,
I wonder if everything will be ok,
If only I knew what the future held.
God come now ,come soon this I pray.

If today was better then yesterday ,
For this I ask and beg of you,
A cruel place I see beyond these window pains
A child crys, a mother suffers, a father in despair.

The Lord I know he sees it all.
But times like these I doubt
Where is my faith , what do I think
Is this my lot in life, to live in disharmony?

It could have been different I was told
I didn’t listen and for this I pay
A life I wasted , all to forgotten
A childish mind yes I have

This window is my soul
A place I hardly tread
To open are the wounds
They never heal , never gone are they.

Where did I go wrong all those years ago
Was it when I took the wrong turn
The cross roads where I did not listen
To think I new it all before my time

I pass this caution on to you
To head the voices who float around you now
Take heed to listen to there wisdom
For wisdom is to understand and to understand is that of wisdom.
