I never knew you as a master
You never used me as a slave
From the moment I took Breath
Your love is what You gave.
Though times I tried to hide from you
I could not push away.
You refused to let me go My Love
By my side you always stayed.
Patiently you waited
And your patience has been great
When death is what I deserved
My duty you did pay.
My Saviour and My lover
First Love of my life
My Bridegroom softly beckons
I go HIS loving Bride.
